located conveniently only minutes from Ohio’s capital, has many beautiful

If you are interested in the family events of Gahanna, you
will love the newly revitalized Creekside! Located downtown
Gahanna, Creekside is another park based around the Big Walnut Creek. Restaurant / Bars such as The Old Bag of

on the creek. You can eat dinner while
enjoying breathtaking views. When you are done with dinner, walk everyone
over to Coldstone Creamery for some delicious ice cream and head on down to the

Creekside also is home to many big events in Central Ohio including the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival. The festival has already passed this Summer but you can be sure to look forward to it again next June. With such talented acts as Columbus’s own Willie Phoenix and also The ColumbusJazz Orchestra. According to the website dedicated to The Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival, “The Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival is a three day cultural celebration featuring hundreds of musicians, delicious cuisine, artisans from the region, amusement rides and engaging family activities. The event started over ten years ago as a one day dedication of Gahanna's new Creekside Park area and the beginning of Olde Gahanna's revitalization. The Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival has experienced unprecedented growth in attendance and has truly become more than the celebration of music, food and fun; it has become a premiere family summer event."

Make Academy Park a family tradition!
As you walk through the woods and once you cross the river,
you may notice the smell of cooking hot dogs.
That is because you will be coming up on another picnic shelter. The other half of this amazing park is on the
other side! You will notice a beautiful,
well-kept pond, a few mallards swimming in the water, and maybe a fisherman or
two (make sure to ask them what they are catching). The West side of Academy Park also
has it’s own restroom facilities year-round, a playground, a baseball diamond,
and a basketball court for you to brush up on your layups.
To get to Academy Park from the Morse Road and
Cherrybottom Road intersection you may
travel South on Cherrybottom. The
entrance to the park will be on your right, not even a mile down the road!
Spend a day on the green!
After a busy day of business meetings and fast talk at the Creekside Conference and Event Center, it's time for some rest and relaxation. The Gahanna Golf Course is only right down the street from Creekside and it will be open until dusk 7 days a week. Enjoy an outing with your business partners or your friends and swing out a few rounds.
